Meet the Team

The team at Prenplants Sussex Limited have a vast amount of experience under our belts and we’re dedicated to providing the very best peat-free herbaceous perennials. Get to know us a little better:

Chris Corke – Managing Director

Chris has worked in the horticulture industry for over 19 years. He ran a retail nursery before the opportunity to own and run Prenplants. Chris oversees the day to day running of the nursery  and you may even see him out delivering in the Prenplants lorry or van.

Ellen Corke – Director

Ellen is currently taking a break from the corporate life she is used to, to help run Prenplants. She is working alongside Chris to help with the day to day running of the business as well as looking for business development opportunities. She is responsible for HR and finance at the moment. In her spare time Ellen is a keen baker and loves the opportunity to try out new things at the monthly potting days.

Vanessa Osgood

Vanessa had been at Prenplants for 25 years so has seen her fair amount of change over the years. She oversees despatch, labels and Landscaper orders. In her spare time she runs the Petworth darts league and plays in a band.

Jane Wort

Jane has worked at Prenplants for 14 years. She works on despatching plant orders, potting plants and general care of the plants on the nursery. She spends her spare time with friends and family and walking her dog Buddy.

Katy Skinner

Katy is our Saturday girl. She has studied horticulture at Brinsbury college but at weekends she comes to pot plants and lead the potting days. She is an avid Harry Potter fan.

Sally Coldwell

Sally joined the team at Prenplants in 2017 and came to us with 14 years of experience, having worked for large garden centre groups. She will be helping us grow and develop the nursery bringing her wealth of knowledge and helping us reach out to new customers. In her spare time she enjoys walking her 3 dogs and also runs Dog training classes.

Harry Clee

Harry is our Saturday boy.  He also studied Horticulture at Brinsbury College but at weekends pots plants and does general jobs around the nursery.  He enjoys canoeing and watching rugby.
