Have You Ever Been Pigeon Holed

Despite it being our busiest spring for several years, a family of robins has made a nest in the “pigeon holes” of our nursery label store.

The plucky family managed to raise all four of the youngsters in the midst of a fully operational dispatch unit. This was our busiest start to the season for many years, so not only did we produce lots of high quality herbaceous plants we also have four extra feathered friends flitting round the nursery and helping with our pest control.

So Now Can You See What It Is?

For all of you who have waited patiently to find out what several hours of avid whittling achieved. We hope you didn’t hold your breadth waiting as I guess that you wouldn’t be reading this.

Anyway here it is in all its glory at the GAN Show. We had a great show and met lots of friends and customers. Thanks to all of you who expressed their appreciation of the stand.

We have been very busy since, hence the lack of activity on this web site.

However for those of you who missed our centrepiece’s last outing, our giant polystyrene block will be making another appearance at the Woking Nursery Exhibition at Merrist Wood near Guildford on Wednesday 11th July.

We have repainted the entire stand, so come and see the team’s latest creation on the 11th.

We look forward to seeing you.

CAN YOU SEE WHAT IT IS YET?

The above picture is of our proposed centre piece for our GAN show stand. No not Sue, but the incredibly large block of polystyrene next to her.

Our design department hasn’t let on what its final form will be but rumors abound. Although a life size sculpture of head of sales, David as “the thinker” have been overruled due to the onset of cold weather and insufficient material.

So if you want to find out what exciting creation this turns into then you will have to wait until February 14th when this impressive obelisk will be on view to the public at GAN Trade Show at Golden Acres Nursery, near Bournemouth.

We look forward to seeing you there.

AUTUMN

It’s November and we have finished our van sales rounds. I am sure you are already missing David’s cheery smile, as he takes a well earned break in his hut in the Highlands.

The Prenplants team would like to thank all our customers for their loyal support throughout the year. We will be visiting most of you in the new year to show you our new catalogue (The design team are threatening to change the colour again …… so watch this space), to tell you about all the new plants we will be introducing for 2007 and to ask how we may be of better service to you.

We still have a range of exciting herbaceous plants that are looking good even in this dullest of seasons. If you require a top up to freshen up your displays we will be happy to deliver it to you.

LANDSCAPERS

We are now supplying an even larger number of landscape and amenity contractors as well as increasing our range to cover many of the plants sought after by landscapers.

We have recently provided plants for the redevelopment of Cranleigh’s village centre.

We are producing more plants in four and nine litre pots which will provide larger plants for instant impact.

At this time of year (November to February) we are happy for landscapers to select from our wide range of growing stock any week day. However we are also happy to work from pre-sent lists to ensure that your order is ready for collection when you require it. List may be sent by fax, email, phone or post. We will also suggest substitutes when your first choice is unavailable.

We are happy to deliver plants should this be required. Orders over £250 are delivered free within 30 miles of the nursery. Smaller orders or greater mileages will be charged as appropriate.

We do not have the facilities to process credit or debit cards but are extremely pleased to accept cheques (supported by a banker’s card) or cash.
